Karen is a Registered Nurse and Certified teacher. She worked at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, in Chronic and Palliative Care as well as Maternity, then once amalgamated at Quinte Health Care Picton in ER for a total of 30 years. She has been coordinating and teaching the Personal Support Worker Program at Loyola ALCDSB for the past 20 years.

Karen was Chair of the CESBA PSW committee and worked with EDU, MTCU and MOHLTC on various projects related to Personal Support Workers for the past 15 years and is excited to be working with Hospice Prince Edward.
