What our Volunteers are saying...

"I believe that as a volunteer with Hospice Prince Edward, engaged in the residential visiting programme, we are able to face the reality of our time on Earth. We are able to bring compassion, and support to the individual facing the great challenge of dying. Our clients and their families need not be alone. At Hospice we help."

"The honour of being allowed into families dealing with one of the most important functions of its life, of able to help someone undergoing the last passage, and seeing how loving and caring folks can be when put to the test, gave me rewards far beyond my expectations and I hope to continue this work for a long time."
Alida-HPE Volunteer

"Being a hospice volunteer for more than 15 years has been a gratifying experience for me. Helping others in their difficult time gives me a personal satisifacation from the support I can offer."
