Nel is a Registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Leadership Advisor, & HR Consultant. Nel has been in the ‘helping others sector’ for 25+ years living across Canada and in Italy. She was the Vice-Chair & HR committee lead for the Military Family Resource Centre- National Capital Region (MFRC-NCR) Board of Directors in Ottawa. Nel has worked with various client populations including military members, first responders, leaders of small, medium, and large companies, first nations people, forensic populations, newcomers to Canada, and women who have experienced intimate violence—to name a few.

Today, Nel leads a small virtual clinic from her home in Picton where she, her husband Nicola, and Japanese spitz Fiocco have enjoyed the county since 2018. She is happy to be part of the Hospice Prince Edward to both share her relevant expertise in Psychology, Human Resources, and Leadership as well as learn more about the important work being done at Hospice.
